Hej! My name is Su Pang and I am a graphic designer from a little island called Singapore. I currently live in a Swedish inspired cottage named Lilla Östugan (Little Island Cottage) that I designed and helped build. Scandinavian design has been influential in my work. Simplicity creates flow.
Less is more.

Design is dimensional. It combines color, texture, contrast and shape that can be sculpted into any form.
A good story is one that is told in a compelling way that also creates thoughtful engagement. I am driven by Nordic design ideology, creating clarity on how we can benefit from our inventions and it's impact for the future.
I have been designing for over 12 years creating graphic design, branding, packaging, production, photography and videography.
Some of the industries I have worked in include biotech, real estate, engineering, apparel, toys, consumer retail, computer, fitness, restaurants, entertainment and more.
Over the years I have grown a few more greys and also confidence in leading projects. As with home building, any task involves taking initiative, managing a team, tackling numerous projects, learning how to put out fires and making room for improvements.
This design was part of the rebranding project. Corporate colors, slimmer font styles and consistent graphics were brought in to incorporate a contemporary facelift.
The ad was designed around one of CEB's product. The product offers convenience for busy moving professionals. The design focuses on the key benefits using visual cues with a clean corporate palette.
Using my hands to build, helps me think out of the box. It challenges me to push my boundaries in engineering a design. I find great joy in turning an organic material or recycled product into something functional and giving it a purpose.
My passion for traveling is to seek out authenticity, to document personal stories, disappearing cultures and forgotten places. These encounters have given me perspective to focus on what we have versus what we don't. I have seen beauty in the obscurity. Full albums at Su Pang Photography.
Community building has always played a role in my world. When I lived in Los Angeles, I pulled together a group of creative women to curate an all women artshow that took place in a 1900s historic Koreatown building. With it's success, I curated five other shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland and Brooklyn. Four of the shows were fundraisers for non-profits.
